Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this K Source electric passenger-side replacement side mirror. Now, this is a custom fit mirror that is designed to fit your 2019 and newer Subaru Forester. And for your reference, I am also including the original equipment number on your screen just in case you are in need of that as well. So this mirror is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. So, you're really not gonna be able to tell that it is a replacement.

This is going to look like it came with your Forester right from the factory. It features a durable plastic housing with this textured black finish. And like your original mirror, this mirror has the power remote capability so you can just adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside of your Forester. Now, do keep in mind that the power remote controls or the power remote capability rather, is only possible if your Forester already has that capability. So, if your original mirror could do it, this mirror will do it as well but it will not add that functionality to your Forester if it doesn't already have it.

The OE-grade convex glass with the first-surface plating is going to give you clear images. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome and the convex lens is going to provide a wide angle that reduces blind spots. The breakaway design is going to let this mirror fold in. If you accidentally strike something like maybe if you're going into your garage and you hit the side of the garage as you're coming in, this mirror is going to fold in to try to prevent damage to the mirror itself and to whatever you accidentally struck. This is going to be an easy bolt-on, no-drill installation.

This is going to use the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror that you are replacing. And this mirror is going to plug into your Forester's existing electrical wiring. So again, this is for the passenger side of your 2019 and newer Subaru Forester. But if you are also on the lookout for the driver-side as well, the good news is we do carry that and you can, on your screen you see the item number to that driver-side. You can just take that item number and put in the search field of our website and it will take you to the driver-side replacement mirror if you are in need of that.
